Prospect Park is Brooklyn's backyard, designed by the same team behind Central Park. The Park Mile route is the 3.35-mile loop on Park Drive, around the Long Meadow and the lake.
The route
- Distance: 3.35 miles for the full Park Drive loop.
- Terrain: paved, with one noticeable hill on the east side.
- Getting there: Grand Army Plaza is the classic start.
Tips
- Stay in the runners lane — the drive is shared with cyclists.
- Many local races happen here on weekend mornings.
