Hudson River Park stretches along Manhattan's west side, from Battery Park to 59th Street. The Park Mile route follows the Hudson River Greenway through the whole park — about 4.5 miles of river, piers and sunsets.
The route
- Distance: about 4.5 miles from Battery Park to 59th Street (one way).
- Terrain: flat paved path — the runner lane is separate from the bike lane.
- Getting back: run it back, or finish uptown and take the subway.
Tips
- Stay on the pedestrian side; the bike lane is fast.
- Sunset runs here are famous for a reason.
- Plenty of water fountains and restrooms on the piers.
