Historic Fourth Ward Park sits right on the BeltLine Eastside Trail, a short walk from Ponce City Market. The Park Mile route is a 1.0-mile loop around the park's pond and lawns — the shortest medal in the Passport, and a perfect first one.
The route
- Distance: 1.0 mile around the pond and park paths.
- Terrain: paved, with a couple of short climbs.
- Extend it: hop on the Eastside Trail for as many extra miles as you like.
Tips
- The best "first medal" in the Passport — anyone can run a mile.
- The BeltLine gets very busy on weekend afternoons; mornings are easier.
- Reward yourself with a coffee at Ponce City Market afterwards.
