Freedom Park is a long, linear park that stretches through Poncey-Highland, Candler Park and Inman Park. The Park Mile route uses the paved Freedom Park Trail for 3.8 miles of rolling, tree-lined running.
The route
- Distance: 3.8 miles on the Freedom Park Trail.
- Terrain: paved multi-use path with steady rollers.
- Connections: the trail links toward the Carter Center and the BeltLine, so it's easy to build a longer run.
Tips
- It's a shared path — keep right and watch for cyclists.
- Several road crossings; take them carefully.
- Pair it with the Candler Park route for a two-medal morning.
How to unlock the Freedom Park medal
