Crandon Park on Key Biscayne is where Miami runners go for ocean breezes. Right after the Rickenbacker Causeway, the park's shoreline path gives you about 2 miles next to the water, palms and beach.
The route
- Distance: about 2.0 miles along the shoreline.
- Terrain: flat paths with nature trails inland if you want some shade.
- Go long: keep going south to Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park and the lighthouse.
Tips
- The causeway is a classic Miami hill workout on the way in — watch for cyclists.
- There may be park entry or parking fees; check before you go.
